In a significant move to enhance the quality of life for Emirati citizens, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved a series of housing projects worth AED5.4 billion ($1.5 billion). These initiatives aim to provide 3,004 new homes across Dubai, catering to a variety of needs and ensuring stability for families.
New Housing Developments Across Dubai
The ambitious plan will deliver homes in several areas of the city. Specifically:
- Latifa City will see 1,181 new homes for those receiving housing loans.
- For citizens benefiting from housing grants, new homes will be built in:
- Al Yalayis 5: 606 homes
- Wadi Al Amardi: 432 homes
- Al Awir 1: 398 homes
- Hatta (Makan area): 200 homes
- Oud Al Muteena: 120 homes
- Rural areas of Dubai: 67 homes
This broad distribution ensures that Emiratis across the city and its outskirts benefit from the initiative, offering diverse housing options tailored to their needs.

These projects are part of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme, spearheaded by Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed.
